In the heart of one of the most attractive vineyards of Burgundy
Bouzeron, Rully, Mercurey, Givry and Montagny : these Côte Chalonnaise appellations have become very attractive among the famous sites of Burgundy. They now have their own wall map. Similarly to the work he carried out for the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Nuits, Sylvain Pitiot got down to create a large format map representing all the AOC Villages of the Saône-et-Loire vineyard, with their Climats and Premiers Crus delimitations.
Drawn up on a 1/ 20 000 scale, it is 55.12 inches long and 19,69 inches wide (140 x 50 cm).
A long-time project is taking shape: « Some vine growers had encouraged me to create this map for a long time. As soon as I was free from my professional obligations with the Clos de Tart
(editorial note: Sylvain Pitiot ran this Grand Cru Domain from 1996 to 2015) I was able to devote my time to achieving this goal; with the help of the presidents of the different appellations
such as Marie Jacqueson, Pierre de Benoist, Amaury Devillard, Nicolas Ragot, Laurent Cognard… a new generation of dynamic producers » Sylvain Pitiot explains. (Sylvain trained as a
topography engineer.)

These very precise maps, based on the official land registry, offer the reader a journey deep into some of the most famous Burgundy "Climats". They give a complete list of the producers, naming
each parcel they grow and giving the surface area of every single plot.
At first glance, you can locate the place where the Romanée-Conti estate grows its vines in the Montrachet appellation for example, or else where the Armand Rousseau domain’s parcels are situated
in the Chambertin appellation etc.
The contour lines enable the reader to visualize the relief.
They are also included in a general map of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits.
The maps also give the GPS coordinates of the Climat and some significant features of the place (gates, low walls, etc.)
8 maps are available: Vosne-Romanée grands crus*, Clos de Vougeot, Montrachet, Chambertin, Musigny, Corton et Corton-Charlemagne, Chablis grand cru, Meursault premier cru Perrières.

Their standard format 80X60 cm (31,50 x 23,62 inches) enables you to frame them and exhibit them easily on your walls.
